Tracey Mair – Director
Tracey Mair has been one of Australia’s leading film and television publicists for more than 20 years. Her affiliate company TM Publicity has extensive experience across film and television production, film distribution, television broadcast and Government screen agency media relations. Tracey has been unit publicist on numerous Australian film and television productions and has managed the national PR and marketing campaigns for various high-profile Australian and international feature films, including SHINE, THE SAPPHIRES, THE RAILWAY MAN and LION. Tracey began her career as a journalist and has a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) from RMIT.
Courtney Botfield – Director
Courtney is a communications, marketing and management specialist with 20 years experience in independent film across development, production, distribution and exhibition in Australia and the UK. She has worked across the globe on many prolific and prestigious projects including the Edinburgh International Film Festival as Head of Press, the re-opening and running of the beloved Chauvel Cinema in Sydney and most recently as General Manager of Transmission Films.
She has managed many successful distribution campaigns that have followed both conventional and innovative models including THE KING’S SPEECH, SAMSON & DELILAH, THE RAILWAY MAN, BALIBO, BOY, THE EYE OF THE STORM, ANTICHRIST, AMOUR, MAD BASTARDS, SHAME and MY YEAR WITHOUT SEX.
Courtney is the recipient of the 2015 Natalie Miller Fellowship which recognises and nurtures the next generation of female leaders in the Australian screen community and inspires them to achieve outstanding success at the most senior levels of the business.
Brendan Fitzsimons – Chief Operating Officer
Brendan is responsible for finance, legal, IT infrastructure, accounts and general operations for Goodship and affiliate company Tracey Mair Publicity. He has a keen interest in the not for profit sector and sponsorship opportunities for Goodship. Brendan has extensive commercial experience across the screen sector and in media and technology and has previously worked for Fairfax, and as GM for Engage Australia and DoubleClick Australia.
